Prerequisites: What Do I Need To Participate?
You will need four components to successfully participate in an OnLine Study Group:
- A very strong desire to begin truly transforming your relationship with money. See A Detailed Summary Of Your Money Or Your Life.
Do you feel a strong urge inside you to do "something" about how money interacts with...
- your life,
- your time,
- your relationships?
That's your first sign of success.
- Know that it can be done regardless of your situation. The Host of your OnLine Study Group session is actively working the Your Money or Your Life program and had/has situations to encounter as well. Your Host will share his/her experiences with you. Don't get hung up waiting for something to happen — if you have the desire, know this program can be done by you. This is your second sign of success.
- Two to four hours each week to do the session assignments and participate in on-line discussions. There are eight OnLine Study Group sessions. Dedicating time, combined with knowing you can do this program, plus a strong desire to truly take charge of your life, is your third sign of success.
- Finally, all you need next is access, a few resources and registration:
- Full internet access with an Internet Explorer or Netscape browser (version 6.0 or better), an e-mail account, a PDF viewer (optional) and familiarity with using a web browser and e-mail. - A copy of Your Money or Your Life. If you don't have a copy you might be able to find one at a local used or new bookstore. Or, you can purchase one at the time of registration. You will save $3.00 off the cover price if you purchase Your Money or Your Life with your OnLine Study Group Participation Package. We do not recommend reserving one from the library if you are going to participate in this course because you will need it for at least eight weeks and will probably want it for reference long after you have finished the course.
- A copy of A Study Guide for Groups or Individuals for recording your work. At the end of the registration you will be able to download a free PDF edition to print.
- (Optional, but highly recommended!) A copy of Transforming Your Relationship With Money & Achieving Financial Independence. You will save $10.00 off the cover price if you purchase the audio/workbook course with your OnLine Study Group Package. This eight hour audio course with detailed workbook (different from the one you use on-line) can serve as an important reinforcement tool. Many people have found doing the audio/workbook course in conjunction with a Study Group is helpful in building a greater understanding of the program.
