We ship orders every day, Monday-Friday, except holidays. Orders received by 12:00 pm Pacific Time are usually shipped the same day, (subject to product availability, see "Backorders" for more information). Orders received after 12:00 pm Pacific Time on Friday will be shipped the following Monday.

Our shipping and handling charges are based on the weight of your order and the cost of the packing materials. In short, the more your package weighs and the more material we must use to package it, the more your shipping and handling charges will be.

The Simple Living Network shall not be responsible for duty that may be imposed on import shipments. The customer is responsible for determining all duty, tariffs or restrictions for import of the products they purchase. In the event that your countries customs agency denies your shipment, we cannot refund shipping charges. We can only offer a refund on refused products if they are returned to us in resalable condition.

We strive to keep all items in-stock. However, due to high demand, some products may occasionally be on backorder.

If an item you order is on backorder you will receive a notice stating the estimated shipping date.

In most cases, backordered items will be available within a 5-10 business days.

We take extra care to make sure your order arrives safely. When you receive your order, please check the contents right away. In the rare event that an item is damaged, please:

1. Do not refuse or discard the shipment or shipping container.

2. Please Contact Us immediately for further instructions.

3. Do not return the damaged product to us, unless we instruct you to do so.

4. You will receive a prompt refund or replacement, your choice.

If you find that you wish to return a product for any other reason, we are happy to make an exchange, issue credit toward future purchases or provide a refund. However...

Unauthorized returns will be returned to you "postage due" and are not available for exchange, credit or refund. We apologize, but we cannot refund shipping charges. Return shipping and insurance is your responsibility. All items must be returned in their original shipping containers and accompanied by original documentation (invoices and packing slips) and a Return Authorization Number.

We must collect Sales Tax on orders shipped to addresses in the state of Washington. As of July 1, 2008 new state laws changed the way we must collect Sales Tax. The amount of Sales Tax collect is now based on where your order is delivered within the state of Washington. The formula is complex and our on-line ordering system cannot handle the calculations. Therefore, the amount of Sales Tax shown on your on-line order confirmation receipt is only an estimate and the most you can be charged for Sales Tax. When we process your order we will adjust the actual Sales Tax rate based on your actual delivery location Sales Tax rate. The adjusted amount will be shown on the invoice that is included in your shipment.
