Just wondering - is there a way to 'mark all forums read'? I've noticed this option on other forums I read and it's really handy. Am I missing it somewhere? I have noticed the option 'active topics since-whatever-you-choose', is that as close as you get?
Thanks for your help! |

| I just click on "Active Topics", and that only shows any new posts. |

That is what I do as well. Saves a lot of time. I have a number of forums that I do not visit so this way I avoid having to look at them at all. |

Am I wrong, or doesn't this still pull up the entire thread?
I like the "Go to first unread post" feature I'm familiar with in other forums.
Please let me know if this feature exists here in SL.
Kindest regards. |

| I don't think so, spncity. We use Snitz forum software and it doesn't appear to be one of the features. |

Thanks for letting me know. Maybe it is a feature that has been turned off? That could be turned back on?
Just sayin'... it's a pretty standard feature these days on forum software.
Would love to return to a thread I have not visited for awhile and be able to start right in reading where I left off (especially the long ones where it's necessary to scroll and scroll to figure out where the new stuff is).
Anyway, thanks for listening. Appreciate the simple living tips I read here.
Kindest regards. |

| I just did as much research as I am willing to spend time on and could not find any indication that Snitz 2000 has that feature. Please feel free to do your own research if you want, and let me know your findings. We can probably enable it if we have it and if it is okay with the website owner. |

The latest version of the Snitz 2000 forums (ver 3.4.07) does have this feature. http://forum.snitz.com/specs.asp It appears to be new to the latest version. |

| Near the top of the Active Topics page, at the top of the listing of threads, is a blue bar showing the headings "Topic," "Author," "Replies," etc. Just left of the heading "Topic," is an icon that looks like a purple and yellow file folder. Clicking that icon marks all topics read. |

Brilliant! Thank you, Lightly, that's just what I was looking for!! How did I manage to miss that... thought I checked all the little icons, must have missed that one! |
